On behalf of 21 exhausted
yet exhilarated 15 year old geography students
may I thank you and your team, especially the
inimitable Dudley, for an excellent tour of
Namibia under the theme of investigating “extreme
environments” as part of their school
curriculum. The trip surpassed our expectations
not only in terms of the experiences themselves
(for example, the barchan and seif dunes on
the desert walk were incredible) but also in
terms of the organisation, care and friendliness
of the team which cared for us 24 hours a day
for the duration of the trip. We are booked
for 2009 already!

Thanks for your
wishes and for checking with me. Everything
you arranged for me (David's, Spiers estate,
shark cage diving) went great.
I took 500+ pictures and
will eventually get them online, but have much
Photoshopping to do first. I'll get there!
Happy Holidays,

We had a wonderful
time on our safari in Tanzania – definitely
the best part of our vacation. Our driver, Fuhanael
Kileo, was very experienced and professional,
and ensured that we saw the “Big Five”
on our first day in Ngorongoro and also in the
Serengeti. We enjoyed the lodges, and thought
that the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge was definitely
one of the best places that we've ever experienced.
Besides the “Big Five”, we saw hundreds
of wildebeest and zebra, giraffe, baboons, impala,
warthog, hippos, hartebeest, redbuck, Thompson’s
gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, ostrich, guinea
fowl, jackals, cheetah, and load s of birds
(including hundreds of pink flamingo). We would
definitely recommend this safari to others.
We have attached some photos. Please let us
know if you need any other information.
Thanks again for your help,

The trip was great.
Croc camp has some really nice chalets if you
want quiet and the bar in particular is really
nice—right on the water with kingfishers,
crocs, and hippos making appearances, although
usually just the kingfishers and assorted birds.
Botswana is beautiful and
I was sad to leave it—people are very
nice. I probably stayed longer than most people
would want to in the off season. For me it was
perfect. Most nights I had the entire place
to myself. I did get into the Delta and went
on a daylong mokoro trip, which was really worth
the time and money. My Moremi Air flight from
Maun to Kasane was in a four seater plane—I
got to sit up front—and from our elevation
of 5000feet I was able to see all sorts of elephant
herds and hippo. The flight took me right over
Chobe and was like a free wildlife charter.
The Falls were amazing and the Zambezi Sun is
a world class resort—just what I thought
it would be, although I didn’t think the
baboons would be quite so aggressive!
All in all, a great adventure,
so thanks very much
All Best,

Just a note here to let you know that I've returned
from Africa. My last-day tour of Soweto and J'berg
was excellent. The guide a guy named Johannes
…..was terrific, and I feel lucky to have
been shown around by him. Soweto was fascinating
and we did end up detouring for a bit into downtown
J'berg. Saw as many animals as I could have hoped
to.
All in all, a great experience and I wanted to
thank you for helping put together such a memorable
trip. Certainly every part that you had a hand
in went off without a hitch.
Thank you very much

As always Botswana was wonderous and already our
thoughts are fixed on when can we go back. This
year we went back to camps that we had stayed
at before - they were great and we remembered
why we had chosen them again. We meet such interesting
people travelling in and out of the camps. The
wonderful thing is that we recognised quite a
few faces (guides) from previous visits and they
recognised us. Food as always was very good at
all camps. I am
so pleased we got Savuti on the schedule as
the first camp - I was not expecting huge herds
of elephant but we did get one herd of 150+
and after that, everything else to me was a
bonus. There were some sensational moments -
I believe Richard may have some rather wonderous
photographs - can't wait until he sorts them
all out. I got some great video moments too.
We will be in touch again soon no doubt.
Thank you again for putting things together
so well for us

We had the most amazing
vacation ever! Absolutely a dream vacation!
And we have often spoken about how well you
have arranged everything. With everything sorted
out like this it was really a VACATION. We were
always picked up on time, and everyone knew
where we were meant to be the next step on the
way. Samuel, our guide in Masai Mara was absolutely
fantastic. He deserves to be told that he did
an amazing job.
The people were so welcoming
and the culture was so interesting. We saw all
the animals and the landscape and all, but I
found the people the most interesting. The food
was wonderful. Everything was perfect!
Thank you so much for planning
this out so perfectly for us! We have so many
good memories that we will keep with us forever!
We have agreed that you are our official holiday
planner from now onJ And if anyone else we know
are going to Africa- we know who they should
contact!
We’re already thinking
of where to go next…any ideas?

Thank you for the follow up. The safari was
wonderful. Our ranger was fantastic. He really
projected excellence, knowing when and how close
to get to the animals and knowing when to give
them space. I took around 1,000 pictures and
some video.

We had a fabulous trip and wanted to let you know
that we were greatly pleased with every aspect
of our vacation! Each person we came in contact
with along our journey was extremely professional
and friendly. At each location we were promptly
met and had no difficulties getting from place
to place, which was a great relief since we did
not know the country. All of the hotels and game
reserves were excellent and so was the staff.
We believe that we were able to fully experience
Africa on our vacation. You have a beautiful country!
Thank you again for all of your hard work for
putting our trip together! We greatly appreciate
it and will never forget this trip. We
would recommend your company to anyone that
asks us about planning a trip to Africa. Many
thanks again!

Things went very well, the service very good
and the trip was quite incredible. All the chefs
stood up to the challenge of our special diet.
The driver/guide Omari was
outstanding. Apart from being very nice and
knowledgeable, he knew how to talk to people
who have a bit of knowledge already. (This was
our seventh trip to Africa.) Not every guide
can do this.
The team at the mobile camp
at Ngorongoro was outstanding too: the chef
Sharif, the "valet" Abu-Bakr and his
helper. Their service was impeccable.
